ღ When I'm Gone ღ

When my time has come and gone,
and my life on earth is through ~
Don't cry yourself into despair.
I will still be here for you.

When bluebirds sing in morningtime,
and the wind blows through the trees ~
Just smile and know I'm always near,
within that warming breeze.

When sun shines 'cross the meadow,
and the violets are in bloom ~
Just sigh and know I linger,
within their sweet perfume.

When rain falls down upon God's earth,
don't hide within your tears ~
Just know I'm there to ease the pain,
and shield you from your fears.

When autumn shines with golden glow,
and leaves whisper ~ sweet goodbye ~
Just blow a kiss into the wind,
I'll catch it with a sigh.

When winter calls with chilly breath,
And frost coats ~ the frigid land ~
Just warm yourself with memories
I'll be there ~ so close at hand.

When springtime climbs the mountains,
and renews with beauty true ~
Just remember that you'll find me,
in nature's greening hue.

When summer brings the roses,
and you cry a mournful cry ~
Just remember that I love you,
with a soul that will not die.

That we encounter every day.

A tiny golden butterfly
Perched upon my sill
His wings he fluttered gently
To give my heart a thrill.

On the wind I heard a song
Sung with pure delight
Trilled by a tiny bluebird
Such a lovely sight!
